We often talk in education about being a learning leader, or being culturally responsive in our practice, or building the agency of ourselves and teachers for a moral purpose for equity - but it is much harder to develop these dispositions in ourselves and others than we think … and it is these mindsets and dispositions that make a real difference to leadership and teachers’ practice. My recent research with Lorna Earl focused on how leaders learn these dispositions - and how we as leaders can then support the people we work with to develop them.
This participatory workshop will give you the research, the skills and the practice to take back into your every day work of improving student achievement and building the continual improvement of teachers’ practice through a learning culture.
