Pete's session aims are to provide inspiration, teacher confidence, engagement (teacher and student), up-to-date pedagogy and hands-on science for teaching years 0-8. This full-day, interactive workshop will look at-


  • Why is science important? (Brief overview)

  • Science is about mysteries! Let’s investigate!

  • Getting to the core of what science is. Morphing an ‘activity’ into engaging, REAL science.

  • Fun, interactive, engaging investigations and how to create opportunities for integration. Gaining confidence by ‘doing’.

  • Foregrounding the Foundational Science Capabilities.


All sessions will be hands-on.
